District News

Old Saybrook Parents,

As part of our strategic plan, Old Saybrook School District plans to examine homework practices next year.  As baseline data, we would like to know your current thoughts and feelings about homework.  Please take a few moments to answer this six-question survey.  Thank you for your input.

Homework Survey

Dear Seniors,

I want to take this moment to personally thank all of you who met with me about your experiences in Old Saybrook Public Schools. Your feedback is invaluable to us. As we prepare for the future, your thoughts and suggestions will be used to build a better school district, one that is dynamic and capable of change to meet the needs of our students. The results of our conversations have been compiled and are available on our district website under the high school’s news and events page. We envision a school district that enriches the lives of all of our students through personalization and a system of structured self-discovery. Much as you continue to grow into the adults you will become, we also continue to grow into a school district that sends you out into the world as capable, well-rounded individuals, prepared for the next challenge in your lives.

Thank you all again for your input and your perspective. Everything we do is for the betterment of your lives and we appreciate everything you have already given back to us. I look forward to seeing each of you at graduation.

Sincerely,

Jan Perruccio
