Old Saybrook High School wants you to get involved. Getting involved is one of the best ways to make the most of your high school experience. Whether you're looking to explore a new interest, develop leadership skills, meet new people, or simply have fun, there’s a club here for you. Our school community offers a wide variety of student-led organizations—from academic and service clubs to arts, culture, and special interest groups.
This directory is designed to help you discover what each club has to offer, including meeting times, activities, and how to join. Don’t be afraid to try something new or step outside your comfort zone—some of the most memorable experiences happen when you take that first step.
We encourage every student to get involved, stay engaged, and make their mark on our school community. Your interests, talents, and ideas can help shape the clubs of today and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
Get connected. Get involved. Get inspired.
Participation in clubs can offer students opportunities to earn a cord to wear at graduation.
OSHS requires the following for a club to present a graduating senior with a cord:
The senior must have participated in the club for a minimum of two years of high school, and one of the two years must have been their senior year.
The student must not have received any disciplinary action in their senior year.
The list of the names of the seniors being considered for a cord must be submitted to the principal for approval at the end of May and prior to the cord presentation.
Some clubs may have additional criteria in order to earn a cord.
