Parents/Guardians, We were notified five minutes ago that there is a gas main break near Route 1, which has resulted in a Code Green Evacuation at Old Saybrook High School. All our students and staff are safe and are being transported to Old Saybrook Middle School until the area is cleared by local authorities and deemed safe. We have been in contact with local law enforcement, and all safety protocols are being closely adhered to and followed. We will send an update regarding the remainder of the day as soon as possible.

Dear OSHS Parents and Guardians, The Safe Grad Night Committee's goal is to raise enough money so that every Old Saybrook High School graduate can attend a safe, fun, substance-free party after graduation. Annually, for our graduates, we are able to put on an amazing party thanks to the wonderful support from OSHS families and generous local businesses who sponsor the event. If you were unable to make a contribution in the fall time with our back to school envelopes but would like to donate now, we would be most appreciative of the support. Every financial donation greatly helps our fundraising efforts. Please make checks payable to: Graduation Night, Inc and have your child drop off at the OSHS office, where there's a collection envelope for Grad Night. If your company offers matching donations, please consider making your dollars go further by requesting a match. We need volunteers to be part of our team! We especially rely on parent support from the underclassmen parents, as senior parents can't attend the party. If you would like more information about how you can volunteer your time for a worthwhile cause, please join us at our March 5th meeting in the library at 7pm or reach out to us at ossafegrad@gmail.com. Mark your calendars to join us at our 5K and Slime Run on Sunday, April 28th at our FUNdraising event! More details to come! Thanks so much, 2024 Safe Grad Committee Seana Nygard Kim Fiorelli Paula DePuma
