1. Today (9/6/23): Students and teachers who aren't in airconditioned rooms will take breaks in alternate classrooms, meeting rooms, and spaces being made available so everyone gets out of the heat at some point. Outside activities will be limited. Building administrators will advise staff.
2. Tomorrow (9/7/23): We WILL have an early dismissal for the Middle School and High School only because Goodwin has air-conditioning. The Middle School will dismiss at 11:55, and the High School will dismiss at 12:00. The Middle School will proceed with open house for parents tomorrow night.
All Old Saybrook Middle School Athletics have been canceled for today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday). We will reevaluate conditions on Friday when the heat is predicted to break. Go Rams!
